Registrations received after July 31 may be subject to a $100 late fee and may be placed on a waitlist depending on player availability and team capacity.

To avoid additional fees or delays, families are encouraged to complete their registration before the published deadline.

Registration fees are paid securely during the online registration process through TeamSnap.

Payment plan options may be available during registration, where offered by Surrey Minor Hockey.

All registration fees must be paid in full before a player is permitted to participate on the ice for the season.

Rep Tryout Fees are separate from registration fees and apply only to players wishing to participate in Rep evaluations.

The applicable Rep Tryout Fee must be paid in addition to the player's registration fee before the published Rep evaluation deadline.

Registration fees do not include individual team fees.

Depending on the team and age division, additional team fees may be collected to help cover expenses such as:

• Tournament entry fees
• Extra practice ice
• Exhibition games
• Game officials
• Team apparel
• Team activities

Team fees vary by team and are managed separately by team officials.

Families registering three or more children with Surrey Minor Hockey in the same season may be eligible for a 3rd Child Discount.

Please complete the Refund Request Form during online registration to request the discount. The form is included within the registration process.

New players (U11/Atom and older) who have never previously played on a hockey team, including both skaters and goaltenders, are required to complete a skating and skills assessment before the season begins.

A non-refundable assessment fee of $40 applies and is used to help ensure players are placed appropriately based on their skill level and to promote a safe, positive experience for everyone on the ice.
